Kilby is a multifamily development located within Frisco Square, just one block from Frisco City Hall and within walking distance of Toyota Stadium, the Frisco Public Library, and a variety of retail and community destinations.
Designed in collaboration with Toll Brothers Apartment Living, the project was required to follow the Frisco Square Pattern Book and Form Based Code. This resulted in a Depot Warehouse Vernacular style that reflects Frisco’s rich railroad history. The design incorporates rectangular building forms, detailed brickwork, cast stone accents, metal detailing, stucco infill panels, and large divided-light windows.
Residents enjoy a robust offering of indoor and outdoor community amenities, including a pool, outdoor bar, grilling stations, club lounge with draft beer and TVs, a conference lounge with catering kitchen, a mail lounge, and a dog run with pet spa. A two-story fitness center anchors the central courtyard and includes an outdoor yoga deck and virtual training. Smart technology enhances daily living with smart entry systems, Package Concierge® lockers, and Toll Tag garage access. Select units offer vaulted ceilings, private yards, and 13- to 15-foot ceiling heights.
In 2021, Kilby earned the Silver Award for Best Multifamily Housing Community (Up to 4 Stories) from the Southeast Building Conference’s Aurora Awards. Kilby’s success led directly to a second collaboration between HEDK and Toll Brothers, resulting in the adjacent Remy.
