Apex at South Creek transforms a long, narrow site bordering preserved wetlands into a welcoming residential community. The site’s unique shape allowed for a staggered, organic placement of buildings, fostering a naturalistic setting that complements the surrounding landscape.
To distinguish the development from nearby projects, HEDK adapted the prototype we had developed with D.R. Horton with a custom elevation design. A white and neutral color palette enhances the architectural forms while offering a crisp contrast to the lush landscaping, perfectly suited to the Floridian context.
At the heart of the community sits a U-shaped clubhouse with generous glazing, offering immediate views into a tranquil courtyard and a resort-style pool beyond. Additional community features include a spacious poolside cabana, a carwash with a built-in dryer, and a walking trail loop adjacent to the forested wetlands, further connecting residents with nature.
Apex at South Creek exemplifies site-responsive architecture, blending strategic design with visual appeal and environmental sensitivity.
