Citron at The Packing District is a multifamily community located within Orlando’s Packing District. Once part of land owned by citrus magnate Dr. Philip Phillips and used for orange packing operations, the area has been transformed into a vibrant mixed-use destination while preserving elements of its historic identity.
Positioned at the prominent southwest corner of Princeton Street and Orange Blossom Trail, the project creates a distinct presence along two of the neighborhood’s primary corridors. The architecture draws inspiration from the site’s industrial and citrus heritage through a contemporary palette of stucco, brick, and bold orange accents.
A generous forecourt welcomes residents and guests while establishing a strong pedestrian presence along the street. The overall building configuration is carefully arranged to define a series of outdoor spaces, including a resort-style pool courtyard, shaded plaza, and open recreation area. Resident amenities include a fitness center with yoga studio, game room, coworking spaces with micro-offices, and a rooftop deck overlooking downtown.
By drawing from the site’s history, Citron at the Packing District creates a contemporary residential environment that bridges the district’s industrial past with its future. The project’s positive impact on the surrounding community was recognized with the 2026 CoStar Impact Award for Multifamily Development of the Year for Orlando.
