Halston Waterleigh is a multifamily community within an overall master-planned development by D.R. Horton Homes, just minutes from Walt Disney World and conveniently west of FL-429, offering seamless access to the greater Orlando area. 

HEDK collaborated with D.R. Horton to develop a flexible, cost-effective prototype that maximizes construction efficiency without compromising design quality, adaptable for use across multiple Florida markets. The community’s coastal-inspired elevation design reinterprets traditional Floridian architecture with a modern edge, featuring pitched roofs, decorative brackets, manufactured stone, and varied siding to create a warm, inviting presence.

Building placements were carefully planned to shape a series of shared outdoor spaces, including a pool courtyard, a landscaped playground area, and a large green with walking trails. Resort-style amenities include a heated saltwater pool, expansive sunbathing areas, an oversized barbecue pavilion, a fitness center, and a car wash station. Residences feature screened outdoor spaces for year-round usability, blending comfort and function.
