Located in the heart of Old Town Lewisville, Main & Mill is a transformative residential community designed to bring vibrancy, walkability, and renewed energy to the city’s historic core. In alignment with the City of Lewisville’s vision to retain local retail and enhance downtown living, the city partnered with our client to assemble smaller parcels, creating two partial city blocks for development.
The result is a pair of four-story wood-framed buildings constructed over two-story parking and retail podiums, making Main & Mill the tallest buildings in Old Town Lewisville and a new local landmark.
The eastern building serves as the community hub, with a leasing center at street level and a club-level amenity deck two stories above grade, featuring a resort-style pool with unparalleled privacy in an urban setting. Residents also enjoy a Fitness & Wellness Center, co-working lounges, a community kitchen, courtyards, a dog run with pet wash stations, EV charging, and Fetch package delivery.
Design and construction faced several site-specific challenges. The tight urban parcels offered no space for staging, requiring precise coordination throughout construction. Existing storm sewer infrastructure was rerouted to accommodate the building footprint, and traffic circulation was maintained through temporary rerouting developed with city coordination.
By combining housing, retail, and walkability at a meaningful scale, Main & Mill strengthens Old Town Lewisville as a livable, connected, and enduring urban district.
