One90 Gateway is the fourth residential project designed by HEDK within the larger Plano Gateway masterplan, a mixed-use district envisioned by our firm in 2010. Set among residential, hotel, and retail uses, all of which are centered around a public park, the development delivers a walkable, urban living experience within a carefully designed community.

At One90 Gateway, a pocket park anchors the community and serves as the project’s “front door,” terminating Wynhurst Drive and creating a welcoming, centralized green space. Buildings are arranged to line the streets and subdivide the community into smaller, human-scaled blocks, continuing the urban fabric established throughout the Gateway development.

A contemporary façade introduces a fresh iteration of the architectural language found elsewhere in the district. Glass towers above the clubhouse and along the entry drive are dramatically lit at night, creating a standout visual marker from the nearby highway and boosting visibility to prospective residents.

To modernize and streamline the main entry, balconies over the clubhouse were enclosed to create sunrooms or home offices. This thoughtful design update has resonated strongly with residents, adding usable space while reinforcing the clubhouse as a key entry point and amenity hub.
