Palladium Garland Senior Living is an independent senior housing community designed for residents aged 62 and older. The mixed-income project, developed under Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), includes 122 units in total. Of those, 92 units are reserved for households at or below 60 percent of the area median income, while the remaining 30 units are offered at market rate.
HEDK collaborated with Palladium to obtain necessary approvals, including establishing a Planned Development (PD) in the City of Garland. The architecture takes its cues from Spanish style architectural traditions with stone, stucco, and barrel tile roofs. One- and two-bedroom units feature kitchen islands, granite countertops, walk-in closets, and private patios or balconies.
Shared amenities aim to foster social connection and a balanced daily life. The community includes a pool with sundeck, a fitness center, an oversized community room, a business center, walking paths, a community garden, and a dog park.
Palladium Garland Senior Living builds more than just housing. It establishes a place where seniors can remain independent, engaged, and supported through design that merges affordability, comfort, and dignity.
