The Opal is the second phase of a two-part residential development in the Alliance corridor of North Fort Worth, developed by AMCAL and designed by HEDK. Named in honor of Opal Lee, the “grandmother of Juneteenth”, the Opal follows the successful first phase, The Holston, and continues the project’s mission to deliver high-quality, community-oriented housing in a rapidly growing area. A portion of the units are reserved for the city’s Workforce Housing program, supporting equitable access for professionals and working families.
The site features six three-story buildings that create an active street edge, define a central entry drive, enclose multiple courtyards, and offer views toward the adjacent creek and natural surroundings.
